The Animal Hospital of Barrington is made up of a team that cares about the needs of you, your pets, and your family. We understand that your pets are an important part of the family, and we are happy to welcome them into ours. In order to be a trusted source of support you can feel comfortable turning to in times of need, we have made a variety of resources available. Please feel free to access any of our online resources, such as our Rx Refill Requests, our Pet Portal, Hill’s to Home Diets, and our Pet Library.
The growth and success of our hospital is due to the most loyal, communicative clients we ever could have hoped for. Our goal is to keep those lines of communication open, and if you have any special needs we can accommodate in order to make your experience with us as pleasant as possible and make your pet as healthy and happy as they can be, we are happy to do so. Dr. David E. Harriton and Dr. Michelle E. Harriton established this animal hospital with the goal to serve the families of Barrington and their pets with utmost care and compassion, and we look forward to doing so for you.

We understand how important it is to find the right vet for you and your pet and will do our best to make you feel comfortable with your decision. Preparing for your visit
To make the appointment check-in process quicker and easier for you and your pet(s), please fill out the New Client Registration Form. If you are registering more than one new pet, please complete the Additional New Pet Form for each. We request that these forms be submitted at least 48 hours (2 business days) before your scheduled appointment.
Please contact your previous veterinary hospital/clinic and request that your pet’s medical records be emailed to records@townvet.net. If your pet has not been seen by another veterinary hospital/clinic but you have adoption records you would like to provide, please email them to the same address. To allow our medical team time to prepare for your pet’s visit, we ask that your pet’s records arrive at least 48 hours (2 business days) before the scheduled appointment.

Welcoming a New Pet
We’re thrilled to hear you have a new addition to your family! As a valued client of The Animal Hospital of Barrington, we want to make the transition as smooth as possible for you and your new pet. To ensure we have all the necessary details to provide the best care, please complete the New Patient Form for your new companion. We request that these forms be submitted at least 48 hours (2 business days) before your scheduled appointment. If you are registering more than one new pet, please complete the Additional New Patient Form for each additional pet.
If you have medical or adoption records for your new furry friend, we kindly ask you to email them to records@townvet.net at least 48 hours (2 business days) before their scheduled appointment. This will allow our medical team time to prepare for your pet’s visit.
