Dr. Sara Hodgdon earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 2007. She spent the next 2 years in equine medicine but eventually made the decision to transition to small animal medicine. She hasn’t looked back since then! Dr. Hodgdon enjoys being a part of your furry family member’s health care team in all aspects, but especially preventive medicine, wound management, allergy management, and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. Hodgdon is a native of NH and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in 2003 at UNH with a major in Animal Science. She lives locally with her husband and a small menagerie of dogs, cats, and farm animals. When outside the office, she can be found spending time with family and friends, reading a good novel, checking her trail camera, or pursuing any number of outdoor activities.
